Meet Machelle Gardner

Machelle Gardner spent 15 years in prison for embezzlement and conspiracy. Not only did she serve all that time but she was told at one point that she would never be off probation. Facing so many years incarcerated, many would have given up. Stayed in the same mindset that got them in trouble. Or gotten out and gone right back down the same road. Machelle defies the odds by getting her  bachelor's degree while incarcerated while in prison, completing her masters degree upon her release and now working on her doctorate. Machelle is also helping other women released from incarceration become acclimated to the world again in hopes that they can also find their way to happiness and success too.
